TikTok hashtags usually still show on your Facebook or Instagram posts because the Remove TikTok Hashtags setting isn't enabled. In most cases it was never turned on, or the change wasn't saved.
How do I turn on Remove TikTok Hashtags?
Go to Post Settings.
Find the Remove TikTok Hashtags option and make sure it's turned on.
Click Update Settings.
If this setting is off, Scaled Creator copies the original TikTok caption, including all TikTok hashtags, to Facebook and Instagram.
What happens once it's turned on?
Once Remove TikTok Hashtags is enabled, all newly published Facebook and Instagram posts have TikTok-specific hashtags removed automatically.
This setting only affects future posts. Posts that have already been published aren't updated.
What if the setting is already on?
Double check that the issue is happening on newly published posts, not on older posts that were scheduled before the setting was turned on.
If everything looks correct and new posts still carry TikTok hashtags, email [email protected] with the Facebook or Instagram post URL and a screenshot of your Post Settings showing Remove TikTok Hashtags enabled.
