How Do I Schedule My Posts?

Choosing Random Times or My Schedule, setting up time slots, and turning Auto Posting off

You choose how your videos go out in Post Scheduling, under Publishing. With Auto Posting on, you can let us pick the times with Random Times, or set your own time slots with My Schedule. With Auto Posting off, nothing posts on its own and you post each video yourself.

How do I turn Auto Posting on or off?

The Auto Posting toggle is at the top of Post Scheduling.

  • On means your videos post automatically, using Random Times or My Schedule.

  • Off means nothing goes out until you turn it back on, and you post each video yourself. Your time slots are saved. Here's how to post a video manually.

What's the difference between Random Times and My Schedule?

  • Random Times means we pick the videos and the times for you. Your posts are spread across the day based on your daily posting limit, with at least 1 hour between posts.

  • My Schedule means your videos post at the time slots you set. Each slot posts one video from your queue.

How many videos post each day?

With Random Times, you set your daily limit for each platform, from 1 to 10 a day. To change it, go to Post Settings, open Automation, and adjust the Daily Random Posts Limit.

With My Schedule, each time slot posts one video. If a slot is set to Facebook and Instagram, the same video goes to both. You can add up to 10 slots a day, so that's up to 10 videos a day on each platform.

How do I set up My Schedule?

  1. Select My Schedule, then click Switch to My Schedule to confirm.

  2. Under Weekly Post Queue, choose your timezone. You need to set this before you can add any slots.

  3. Click the + icon on the day you want to post, or click Add Slot.

  4. Pick the days for this slot. Click Weekdays or Every day to select several days at once.

  5. Choose the time.

  6. Choose Facebook, Instagram, or both.

  7. Choose a Queue Pick Order.

  8. Turn on Repeat Weekly to post at this time every week. If you leave it off, the slot posts once and doesn't repeat the next week.

  9. Click Save Slot.

Your slot shows up under each day you picked.

What does Queue Pick Order mean?

Queue Pick Order decides which video each slot posts. Oldest Unposted posts the oldest video waiting in your queue first. Newest Unposted posts your most recent video first.

If you're using Old Video Sync, your older TikToks are part of your queue once they sync. With Oldest Unposted, your oldest videos post first. Choose Newest Unposted if you'd rather post your recent videos first.

Why didn't my time slot post?

A slot only posts when there's a video ready in your queue. If nothing is ready, the slot is skipped. A video isn't ready if you've excluded it, it's held back because its Amazon product is out of stock, or it's in Videos with Issues. Here's why a video might still be pending.

How do I edit or delete a time slot?

Hover over the slot. Click the pencil icon to edit it, or the trash icon to delete it.

Can I auto-post to YouTube?

Not at this time. Auto Posting, with either Random Times or My Schedule, posts to Facebook and Instagram. You can still post a video to YouTube manually.

What happens to my scheduled posts when I switch?

If you switch from Random Times to My Schedule, posts that are already scheduled still go out at their scheduled times.

If you switch from My Schedule to Random Times, you can tick Discard currently scheduled posts to remove them from the queue. If you don't, they still go out at their scheduled times, but your time slots won't be filled again until you switch back to My Schedule. Your time slots are saved, so you can switch back anytime.

Where can I see what's posting next?

Open the Upcoming Posts tab in Post Scheduling. It shows the next videos going out, with times shown in your timezone. Videos appear there as soon as they're queued.
