Why Doesn't My Amazon Associates Report Show Which Products Sold?

Why Amazon's report hides which items sold and why it lists products you never promoted

Your Amazon Associates report doesn't show which products sold because of Amazon's own reporting rules, not a Scaled Creator setting.

If you see multiple sales in your Amazon Associates account but can't tell which items sold, there are two reasons this usually happens.

Why doesn't Amazon show which item sold?

Amazon requires 4 sales of the same exact item before it will display which product it was. Below that threshold, the report shows earnings but not the item.

Why does my report include products I never promoted?

This comes from halo sales. Affiliates earn commission on anything the buyer adds to their cart after clicking the affiliate link, not just the promoted product. That means the report will include items you never promoted.

How does the Amazon cookie work?

  • Standard window. It lasts 24 hours from the initial click and ends early if the shopper checks out or clicks another affiliate's link.

  • Cart extension. If the shopper adds an item to their cart within that 24 hour window, the cookie for that specific item extends to 90 days, as long as they purchase it before the cart expires.
