When Do Affiliate Payouts Go Out?

Payout timing, the 30-day hold and staying eligible as an affiliate

Affiliate commissions are paid on the 1st of the month, two months after the month you earned them. For example, commissions earned in August are paid out on October 1.

Why payouts take two months

Your commissions for a month are counted once that month ends. They’re then held for 30 days so any refunds from your referred users can settle, and paid out on the 1st of the following month.

  1. August: you earn commissions from your referrals.

  2. September: your August commissions are held for 30 days.

  3. October 1: your August commissions are paid out.

If someone you referred is refunded during the hold, the commission from that payment is deducted from your earnings.

Where payouts go

Payouts are sent to the Stripe account you connected when you became an affiliate. If Stripe keeps asking you to connect, see Connecting Stripe to Become an Affiliate.

You can track your referrals and commissions on your affiliate dashboard.

Staying eligible

You need to stay a Scaled Creator subscriber to keep earning commission. If you cancel, you stop earning new commission, and we pay out what you’d earned up to that point before closing your affiliate account.

If a payout date has passed and you haven’t received what you expected, email [email protected] with the email address on your account.
